I doubt I could count the amount of times I held down the button just to see Mega Man, Samus, R-9, and more characters charge their weapons and enjoy all those visuals on release. I would also spend days grinding EXP in Secret of Mana, Phantasy Star, Breath of Fire, and many more games just to level up and unlock a new spell.

A few years ago I started making effects myself and have been doing so since. I have a long road ahead to me, learning more as I progress but doing it with a smile. And maybe one day I might inspire others the same way my peers inspire me.

I’m an active member in the UE4 community, chatting with fellow developers, making tutorials, streaming, solving problems on the Answerhub, and occasionally swing the ban-hammering on a variety of Facebook groups and a very well known UE4 group on Discord.

The reason I am so involved with the community is because I get so much in return. Most developers I have gotten to know are kind, helpful, resourceful, not afraid to speak their mind, and many of them have become friends and colleagues. Not to mention the amazing people at Epic Games who make you feel like you are part of the family that is UE4.

It's because of these people and experiences that I really enjoy my work, my involvement with the community, and the joy I get when creating new content.

My personal preference mostly goes out to stylized/fantasy/sci-fi/tech-fantasy focussed effects, anything over the top is also appreciated. I feel like I am still honing my skills to one day impress myself the same way.. as those effects did back then. I would love to create at least a few games where I can go all out on particle effects, and hope to do so in the near future.

As always, Take care :)
